About the Founder - Carla Seegers
I’ve always believed that numbers tell a story — and most business owners just need someone to help them read it.
I opened my practice in Wilmington, NC in 2015, but my background goes back further than that. I worked in sales but somewhere along the way I discovered that bookkeeping was my passion. There’s something that happens when a client finally understands what their numbers are saying about their business — I live for that moment.
These days, I work with small and medium-sized business owners who are serious about growing. I’m a QBO specialist, and I’m building toward Fractional CFO work because I want to help clients connect their daily numbers to the bigger decisions they’re making. Not just closing the books — actually using them.
Outside of work, I’ve been married for 49 years (my husband is my biggest supporter), and I have four grandsons who remind me what it’s all about. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the beach, reading, or planning the next family trip somewhere we haven’t been yet.
